Im sorry to inform you, do to mothe natures, we will Have to Postpone the Fishing Derby and Training to a latter date the Training will most likely be the First Sat of Dec. 6th., 2008 location to be announced. The Derby will likely occur In the Spring. Sorry for any inconviences.

Outdoor Leader Skills training is a hands-on program developed to give adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. Imagine having hands-on knowledge setting up a campsite, pitching a tent, hiking, outdoor cooking - all the skills necessary to see the outdoor program of the Boy Scouts of America come to life.

Great to see Units signing up, this service will be invaluable once the majority of units have signed up. Reminder for all units signed up, dont forget to let your parents and other leaders know to sign in and register. Then they can follow whats going on in the District. This site could also help recruit new leaders in your unit. Once your parents get registered, you can post anything your units needs like someone to chair a event or a leader needed. Welcome to the Lake Cumberland District Unit Web Site. This a new site set up for units, that will improve communication throughout the District not only at the District level, but also through the Unit level. This site will allow communication through Council, District, and Units, using bulletins and comments. Each Unit can register their information(example: meeting time and place, upcoming event dates, contact information, new ideas ect…).
