Merit badge and Rank Advancements

Shane Michael Williamson had 4 Eagle Required Merit Badges. Hiking, Personal Fitness, Citizenship in the comunity and Citizenship in the Nation. Jordan Marcum Advanced to the rank of Star Scout and Carl Jay Ousley also advanced to the rank of Star. We are very proud of our Scouts and would like to incourage them to stay with the scouting program. And I would also like to announce new troop positions C.J Ousley is our new Senior patrol leader, Jordan Marcum is our new patrol leader and Jon Clay Johnson is our new Chaplains Aid Congratulations to all.

Mike,
I’m not sure where I heard that you are an Eagle Scout, which brings me to my question. Could you PLEASE take a moment & post to my 13 year old son Kelby & encourage him to finish scouting (& anything else that’ll help with this?) Reason I’m asking is that he only lacks 1 1/2 - 2 years in reaching Eagle, but some of his buddies have got him to thinking scouting isn’t cool at his age.

Daniel Boone Popcorn Distribution Sites and Times

First off I want to say congratulations to the Daniel Boone District and all the Units within it. This year’s popcorn sale was a major success! The Units combined for a total of $49,000, a 62% increase over last year! This will be an excellent source of income for our units to provide quality program throughout the Scouting year. A special thanks goes out to Lori Boggs, our District Popcorn Chair, and to all of our Unit Popcorn Chairs for such an excellent job!
