BALOO is an entry level training for Cub Scout leaders. The goal of the training is to provide the skills and information needed to plan and carry out pack camping. It includes essential camping skills, guidelines and rules as established by BSA, and an overview of the progressive development of the camping experience in Scouting.
Check in at McKee Scout Reservation is May 30, 2009 by 8:30 am Saturday morning. Training will be over at 5:00 PM. Participants are encouraged to stay for the evening campfire program. Lunch is included in the cost of the course. Camping on Friday and Saturday night is optional. If you camp, you can choose to purchase additional meals (breakfast and dinner on Saturday) for $5 each.
